Kathryn J. Hallett, 65, died Jan. 18, 2019, as the result of a traffic accident in Carmel. She was born June 21, 1952, in Norwood, Mass., a daughter of Clayton and Miriam (Perkins) Sallie. She had been manager of the Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Abbot. She will be remembered as an avid lover of animals and supported humane societies.
She is survived by her husband, Walter, of Cambridge; a son, Robert, of Ellsworth; a daughter, Katrina Halletthosenfeld, of Virginia; a brother, Paul, and wife, Patricia Sallie, of Massachusetts; a sister, Donna “Kim,” and husband, Michael Cross, of Virginia; four grandchildren; many loved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held later this year at the family camp in Eastbrook.
