Henri Paul DesRosiers, 72, passes away, after a long battle from a work injury, on Sept. 5, 2018.
Henri was born Nov. 16, 1945, in Woonsocket, R.I., to Aline A. Blais DesRosiers and Montcalm M. DesRosiers. He was raised in Manville, R.I., and after finishing grade school he attended and graduated from Mount Saint Charles Academy in 1963. After graduation from R.I Hospital School of Nursing he entered the military as a member of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. He was selected to attend the U.S. Army Anesthesia Course of A.N.C. Officers. After 12 years of active duty he resigned to pursue other endeavors.
He is survived by two children, Jean-Paul C. DesRosiers and Danielle R. DesRosiers Koen both of California. Also his life partner Sheila L. Gray and her sons Jeremy and Ryan Bennoch, special grandchildren, Adam Thomas Bennoch and Emma Sue Bennoch, as well as his beloved dog Munchkin.
A private service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery, Augusta.
